6 Pro Tips To Become A Better Mobile Photographer

You don't need a professional camera to become a photographer. If you have interest in Photography the all you need is your smartphone.

As you all know, smartphone camera's improving day by day. The Photography is all about perspective, your smartphone is the only camera you'll always bring with you.

Taking a great photo with your smartphone is not that hard, all you need to know some basic rules of Photography and practice.

I'm a Photography enthusiast and a mobile Photographer from last 3 years and in this blog I'm gonna share what I've learnt in my photographical journey.

1. Use Of Grid Lines

 

 By Using grid lines ( Rule of third ) in your photos, you can  compose a photo more dramatically.

By placing your main subject slightly off-center, tends to create more harmonious and balanced photograph And this is the good thing for your photo.

You can enable grid lines in your camera app just go into your camera setting and enable framing lines.

2. Play With Perspective

 

Perspective is how you see a scenario or your point of view. In other words perspective plays an important role in photography. Try to click photos from different angles and you'll get beautiful pictures.

As you can see  this photo is clicked from slightly lower angle and its look quite amazing ! hope so. 

There are too many types of perspective if you google it but don't get too confuse just bring your smartphone and start clicking pictures and you'll automatically learn what perspective is ?

3. Don't use zoom , Never!

 Keep in mind, never ever  try to zoom in on subject. If you want some Closeup shots just use your legs and move yourself close to the subject.

These are the Closeup shots which are far better than zoomin. By zooming photo become blurry,grainy and pixelated.

In any case If it is not possible to get closer to your subject you can take photo from a minimal distance and then crop it later, croping is far better than zoomin.

4. Play With Light

 Light plays an important role in photography. By using light in positive manner can make your photos looks great. Take a look around yourself and you'll find some stunning shadows just click them and you are going to love the photos.

Above photos are clicked against the light. You also can click these type of pictures you just need to observe your surroundings.

Always try to take advantage of natural light by using it you can play with shadows  or you can click some stunning silhouettes.

Above pictures are the example of silhouette it add drama and mood in a picture. You can click these type of photos by just focusing on the sun and click against the direction of light.

5. Play With Reflection

 It's look so stunning when we see reflection of our surroundings in water or at any other reflecting surfaces. So look for the opportunities to play with reflection.

 

There are lot of scenarios where you can play with the reflection as you see in the above photo. Understand your surroundings and if you enough fortune to find a reflecting surface just click the shutter button.

6. Use Burst Mode

 Burst mode allows you to do is to take several shots in rapid succession and is very useful for action shots, such as jumping or sports, when it's hard to press the shutter at the exact moment you need.

Clicking in burst mode is very easy all you have to do is press and hold the shutter button and you'll get 15-20 ( in a second ) images of any random action shot.

This is the another example of burst mode. Burst mode can also be useful in clicking some still shots like smile , laugh or many other reactions.

1. Clean your smartphone camera's lens before clicking pictures because we keep our smartphone in our pockets or in bags and it causes blurryness to images, so always clean your smartphone lens it helps you in clicking clear and sharp pictures.

2. Shooting more is the only way to Sharpen your skills, always try to click multiple shots.

3. Using better camera app is another option if your smartphone have not the pro features. Third party app allows you to take control over exposure, iso etc.

4. Using external smartphone lens is also an another option. There are lot of smartphone lens available online like macro lens, telephoto lens, fish eye lens etc. You can buy it online or from somewhere else they actually improves your photo quality.

5. According to me following your inspiration on instagram, Facebook is another better option to learn something new. I'm doing the same what I'm suggesting to you. 

From now you know the basics of Mobile photography, now don't think too much about photography just bring your smartphone and start clicking because practice is the only key to become a perfect Photographer.
